What an exciting and rewarding experience for our Bandar students, in pairs they built their first robot at the new Robotics Centre in Hornsby! Working from a kit the children problem solved together to build a robot car that moved around. They were jumping around in excitement as they tested their car and saw it move! Thank you to the fantastic Robotics teachers for giving K-2 students a wonderful learning opportunity and experience, we can’t wait for our next Robotics lesson!
Our day was fun filled at Hornsby with Robotics, a Music lesson and then Basketball! The children enjoyed having Oliver and Jai as their Basketball coaches. The boys were fantastic leaders organising the children into groups to practise catching and passing and encouraging everyone to do their best! In teams we had some fun competition playing against each other, Mrs Shaw was a fierce competitor on the court!
Every day at Darkinjung nature provides such beauty and entertainment! The children were in awe of the beauty of the Rainbow Lorikeets and were curious as to how a frog was camouflaged in their muddy playground.
The children continue to strive for their best in their learning! I’m extremely proud of the children for showing commitment and focus during their lessons in the classroom and in particular their Literacy and Numeracy activities! It’s very rewarding to see individuals succeed each day through their efforts and commitment to their learning.
Well done Bandar!
